If you want to buy AMSOIL products, visit the AMSOIL Online Store.

Since 1972, AMSOIL Synthetics have proven to be the BEST. AMSOIL also engineers and manufactures Super Duty Oil filters which have a 12,500 mile service life as well as specialized filtration systems for commercial and fleet applications in cars and light, medium and heavy trucks which can filter particles down to less than one micron ( a standard full flow oil filter can only filter to 20-25 microns with any degree of efficiency) making oil changes virtually unnecessary and virtually eliminating engine wear. These filters have been proven by millions of miles of over-the road trucks, construction equipment and fleet service.

AMSOIL saves you time and money.

The only 25,000 mile/one- year motor oil in the world.
Exceeds the most stringent performance specifications of all major U.S. and foreign automotive and truck manufacturers.
Provides up to two-times the wear protection of other motor oils.
Increases the life of your vehicle.
Improves performance, fuel economy and efficiency.
Diesel oil and filtration products designed to deliver 1,000,000 miles for over-the-road trucks before engine overhaul.
Used by many national racing teams, fleets, police departments, construction firms and trucking companies.

AMSOIL has a documented history of innovation and leadership.

The Difference between Synthetic oil and Conventional oil

Click here to watch a video on the Difference between Synthetic Oil VS Conventional Oil

The difference between synthetic oil and conventional oil is in the manufacturing process and raw materials
used to manufacture the finished product.

Conventional oils that people are most familiar with, is refined from crude oil to separate the light oil
components from the heavy ones. Basically filtering out as much unwanted molecules as possible.  After the
refining process some unwanted molecules still linger in the product that is acceptable for sale as new
clean oil in layman's terms.

Crude oil which conventional oils are made of contain sulfur, nitrogen and other elements that invite the
formation of sludge and other products of lubrication breakdown.

Synthetic oil is not refined from crude oil like conventional oil but chemically engineered from pure chemicals
that gives them significant advantages over refined oils.  Fully synthetic oil starts with feed stocks that do
not contain sulfur, nitrogen or other elements that invite the formation of sludge and other products of
lubrication breakdown.

Synthetic oil differs from refined oil in three key ways; they are pure, their molecular structure is uniform,
and they may be designed to work in applications in which refined oils cannot.

Being pure, uniform and designable they exhibit:

·     better reliability and safer operation

·     wider operating temperature range

·     improved energy efficiency

·     increased design ratings

·     reduced maintenance

Because synthetic molecules are pure they are able to withstand higher temperatures and are
more resistant to breakdown. The molecules do not contain impurities that contribute to the
breakdown process.

Because synthetics molecules are uniform they resist thinning, provide a smooth molecular
structure unlike crude oil, which ensures low friction as lubrication layers slide across one
another which helps synthetic resist thinning in heat and thickening in cold leading to better
protection than conventional oils.

Because synthetic molecules are designable they can be designed for use in any application.
They can be tailored to ensure long life and better protection than conventional oils
resulting in long life, peak performance, power and fuel economy for any lubricated system.
There is a synthetic oil or grease formulated for any application that needs lubrication,
even motorcycle oil and 2-stroke engines.

Due to the precise molecular engineering of synthetics they exhibit:

·     High-Temperature Protection and Performance

·     Cold-Temperature Protection and Performance

·     Longer Engine and Equipment Life

·     Extended Lubricant Drain Interval

·     A More Diverse Product Line

·     Increased Efficiency
